Volunteers from the majority of countries are automatically given a 180-day tourist visa on entry into Panama. If volunteers wish to stay longer than 180-days, they have the option of crossing the border into Costa Rica and re-entering Panama, where they will be given an additional 180 days. Alternatively, we can take volunteers to immigration in David where they can apply for an extension of their visa.
