Many of the programs are run in both English & Spanish. If you are a native English speaker and have no Spanish speaking skills, we do recommend that you learn a basic level of Spanish before you start volunteering, as this will truly enhance your overall experience. Our staff is multilingual, but the locals at your specific project may have very limited English. All volunteers will participate in a Spanish Crash Course included with orientation and will have the option of additional lessons during their stay for an additional fee.
